The month of June went by so quickly! The weather has been good!
May 30th , we attended the Annual mini golf tournament for Eastern Star at Chuckster’s
in Hooksett. The Chefs team is made up of Myself & Lady Dixie, Brett Hunter & Lady
Emelie & Lady Rose Freeman. Ill. John Freeman PP was also present as our caddy/umbrella holder (it rained). We had so much laughter and had a great time.
June 2nd , we hosted the Eagle Scouts Celebration honoring the 2025 Class of NH here at Bektash. A Plaque of appreciation was presented to Bektash, and you are more than welcome to see it in the office.
The following week we hosted the State Police Alumni Dinner, and it was a successful one and we heard that they would be back and that means we did a good job!
June 12th, Fun & Fellowship night, the much-awaited Karaoke & Filipino Food. Lady Dixie did not disappoint us, almost 75 people were in attendance. Everyone was raving about how delicious the food was. Thank you to our kids, Danica & Cody Yelle & Diondre for helping and special mention to Marilou Lennon for her assistance.
The next Fun & Fellowship “BBQ & Cornhole Tournament” will be on July 10th, which will be hosted by Assistant Rabban Peter Raven & his Lady Stacey. Please call the office to reserve. Don’t forget to bring a potential Shriner.
Your Potentate and the Chief Rabban Brett Hunter are going to represent Bektash in the upcoming 152nd Imperial Session on July 11-16 in Tampa, Florida. We will be accompanied by some of the Divan members and our ladies.
Sunday Brunch Bingo started June 14th, and we had quite a few people in attendance, next month should be better. The Brunch bingo is usually held on the 2nd Sunday of the month BUT in July it will be on the 3rd Sunday (July 19 TH ) due to, most of us will be in Tampa for the Imperial Session.
The O.A.K. went hiking in Mt. Kearsarge right after the Sunday Bingo. First lady Dixie, Nobles Dave Vachon & Joe Murray made it to the top, but there was one freak accident that happened. So, when you see Lady Dixie ask her, “which finger?” and she will tell you the story.
July 25th is our Summer Picnic which will be hosted by Ill. Brent Norris, PP & his Lady Tracey. Look for the flyer in this issue.
Last but not the least, please join me in welcoming the 6 new Nobles that we fezzed during the Stated Meeting. Congratulations Nobles Jeff, George, Bobby, Robert, Jared & Maurice.
The next Stated Meeting would be in September. As a Noble, please make it a point to attend and know what is going on in your Temple.
Don’t forget, WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER, helping kids and the hospital while having fun and enjoying it too.
