Hello Everyone,
Amazing to think that the first quarter of the year is already over. I am writing this fresh after the first stated meeting of the year which was well attended by our Nobles and some Past Potentates.
The Divan has been working hard to take care of some administrative items on top of their usual busy schedules. Our Assistant Rabban and Oriental Guide have completed their training courses and are back from Florida and our Treasurer and Recorder are heading out on their conference trips.
Your Divan has arranged a summer Ceremonial at Fryeburg Fair Ground in conjunction with Kora Shrine. Kora is based in Maine and this will be a joint Ceremony with candidates from both shrine centers. It is arranged for June 7th to 9th so people can attend either just the Ceremonial or stay for all three days. We have accomodation in the Hampton Inn in North Conway and campsites available at the fairground for anyone that’s more adventurous.
As some of you may already know, the Imperial session this year is in Reno Nevada. We have secured 20 rooms in the hotel complex and are busy putting together a package for any Nobles and Ladies that would like to attend with us. We will push out the details of this as soon as it is complete to give anyone that would like a chance to attend.
Fellowship Friday is back and the first one will be held on Friday May 10th from 6pm. This is being sponsored by the Stewards and will be a “potluck” meal with $2 drinks. There is no agenda or dress code, just an evening of company and good fun. I hope to see you there.
