Greetings Nobles and Ladies,
Bektash has had an incredible month! From the Rainbow Grand Officers Day in Portsmouth, NH, to the Potentate’s Trip, where 119 Shriners from eight different Shrines gathered on the West Coast of Costa Rica — the spirit of fellowship was truly remarkable and will be remembered for years to come.
I am thrilled to announce that Imperial has partnered with Job’s Daughters International, DeMolay International, and the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls to raise awareness and funds for our hospitals. Massachusetts and New Hampshire have been selected to participate in the pilot program before it is rolled out nationwide. This is a tremendous honor for these groups, and we at Bektash should take pride in this recognition and do all we can to support them.
Rock ’N Race sign-ups are now open! If you’d like to participate, please register under “Noah’s Heroes” on the Rock ’N Race website. This team was established by members of the Allenstown Elementary School in memory of my son, Noah, and they’ve continued to support it each year. A heartfelt thank you to Marylin Brison, Kim Foss, and Molly Ireland for keeping this tradition alive. The registration link is available on our website under the Events section.
I’m also pleased to announce that the Bektash online store is now open! This project has been in the works for a few years, and it’s finally ready thanks to Shirt Masters in Chichester. The store will remain open for a few weeks to complete orders, but don’t worry — it will reopen throughout the year with new items added regularly. You can find the store by clicking the “Store” button at the top of our website.
Our March Stated Meeting has been rescheduled to April 14th. We look forward to seeing you and your families there. Please wear your unit or club shirt, and take a moment to connect with someone who may not yet be part of a unit or club. Our summer ceremonial is scheduled for June 21st. If you know someone interested in becoming a Shriner, please ensure their information is submitted before the Stated Meeting on June 16th.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to Bektash. Let’s keep the momentum going!
Fraternally,
Evan McIntosh
