The Fun & Fellowship “BBQ & Cornhole Tournament” which was hosted by Assistant Rabban Peter Raven & his Lady Stacey was a success. There was plenty of food and the usual company had so much fun. First Lady Dixie made it to the championship for cornhole but got 2nd place (better luck next time). Proceeds to the cornhole was donated to the First Lady’s project.
Your Potentate and the Chief Rabban Brett Hunter attended 152nd Imperial Session last July 11-16 in Tampa, Florida. We would like to congratulate our new Imperial Potentate Lawrence “Larry” J. Leib and First Lady Debbie Binder. If you want to know more about our new Imperial Potentate, his bio is in this issue.
What transpired during the Sessions, our Chief Rabban and Recorder will highlight in their articles. Congratulations also to the new Imperial Outer Guard Richard Loomes and his Lady Andree’ of Tunis Shrine.
Sunday Brunch bingo last July 19th was a success! We had more than 30 for both breakfast and Bingo. Spread the word and see you all on August 9th, breakfast at 7:00 – 10:30 am and Bingo opens at 9 am and starts at 10:30 am.
After the Sunday Brunch Bingo, the O.A.K. went hiking in Bear Brook State Park. According to Lady Dixie, it was a relaxed hiking and no “freak accident” this time. Ill. Jack Murray, Sr. PP, Nobles Dave Vachon, Joe Murray, Dave “Woohoo” Rouleau & his Lady Debbie and Lady Dixie were in attendance.
Summer Picnic hosted by Ill. Brent Norris, PP & his Lady Tracey was always an event to attend to. Some nobles even played golf earlier that day. Plenty of food was prepared for all, even our new noble Jeff Pastor brought some pizzas. A big THANK YOU to the Norris’ for hosting this picnic for us. Also, it was great seeing Rich Colby up and about at the picnic with his Lady Sharon.
Some of us left early to go to the CD selling for Styx/Chicago at the Bank of NH Pavilion in Gilford. There were at least 18 of us who volunteered, hopefully next year we could have more.
Looking ahead, please look forward to our next Fun & Fellowship on August 14th – BBQ Western Themed and hosted by our HPP Jim Geas and his Lady Pauline. PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE TO RESERVE. Don’t forget to bring a potential Shriner.
Next would be the NSA Fall Field Days on Aug 20-23rd in Hyannis, MA. Yours truly and 12 more nobles and their ladies have signed up to join us. This will be an awesome event for all. I am sure we will have a great time.
The next Stated Meeting would be in September. As a Noble, please make it a point to attend and know what is going on in your Temple.
Don’t forget, WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER, helping kids and the hospital while having fun and enjoying it too.
