Lady Dixie & I attended the Hospital Seminar in Montreal last month. It was our first time visiting, we learned a lot and we also got to see some patients who were there for their appointments. We also had the privilege to present a check from the Bektash Chefs.
Lady Dixie & I, AR Peter & Lady Stacey, OG Rich & Lady Wanda all attended Melha’s Mystery Dinner which was held in Chicopee, MA. We all had fun and we just found out too, that our OG Rich had a hidden acting talent (ask him when you see him).
We also attended the Bektash Outdoor Adventure Krew (O.A.K.) first event, which is Fly fishing. It was a 2-day event of learning and practicing how to fly fish. Lady Dixie & I had a blast and hoping to have a trip so we could put into use what we learned. Thank you to Jack & Joe Murray for making this possible. Also, part of this unit was hiking, they, Joe Murray, Dave Vachon & David Rouleau went to Mt. Major last May 17th – Lady Dixie is sorry that she could not make it due to fatigue from the catering the previous day.
Bektash Chefs had the opportunity to cater for the Installation of the Most Worshipful Grand Master last May 16th . Thank you to all who came and helped, especially Ms. Darcey Varney who helped Lady Dixie with the desserts and helped with washing the dishes. THANK YOU Darcey, we appreciate you!
Parade season started and the mini-kar which I belonged to had our first parade at Wakefield, NH last Memorial Day weekend. I am sure all the units have done their respective parades already. Please submit your units parade dates so we can all support & watch your parades.

Fun & Fellowship has started and on June 12th , Lady Dixie & I will be hosting the Karaoke & Filipino Food night. Please don’t forget to call to reserve. (please see flyer in this issue).
Stated meeting will be on June 15th and the Summer Ceremonial on the 20th .
Don’t forget, WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER, helping kids and the hospital while having fun and enjoying it too.
