Hi Everyone,
What a great start to the year with almost 190 people attending the Valentines ball. We were very lucky to have a great team hosting this event with a great job done by the chair Katie Yankura and Zach Brosseau. Angela Ciampa did a fantastic job with over forty pies to auction and the hall looked amazing.
Lady Susan’s project did well with a 50/50 raffle, a quilt raffle and the launch of the “Dinner with the Pote” sailing trip. Illustrious John Freeman has again donated a full day of sailing for two on his yacht “Potato Head II” which is being raffled to raise money for Lady Susan’s project. Tickets are available on our website, through the office and also at all events for $20. The winner will be drawn on August 1st and a date will be arranged to take advantage of the best weather.
Some of us had the pleasure of meeting with several members of Cheshire Shrine Club. It was a great experience and we can expect more from them as the year progresses.
The stated meeting is upon us next month and we hope to present more information about this year’s Imperial Session in Reno Nevada. If you have not been to an Imperial Session before, this is going to be a great opportunity to travel as a group. We have secured 20 rooms in the resort and are working on a plan to assist Nobles to attend.
Looking forward to catching up with you all at the Stated meeting.
