Potentate’s Message October 2025

Oct 2, 2025 | Potentate

Greetings Nobles and Ladies,

September proved to be another busy month. Lady Amanda and I are fortunate to be attending the Northeast Shrine Association Mid-Winter being hosted in Prince Edward Island. What an amazing experience and truly a beautiful location.

Our last fun and fellowship was in September. I want to personally thank the elected Divan for their hosting a fun and fellowship this year, it was a great opportunity to have a monthly theme and share in the fellowship.

Saturday October 19th, is the Boston Haunted walk. This is annual event gives you as a Noble the chance to meet some patients and to give back to them. Sign-up to be a part of the great event, come and share stories and smiles with our patients and their families.

We are hosting the up coming Tri-Visitation in North Conway October 24th – 26th. We are expecting a big showing from many temples throughout the Northeast. Please make every effort to come and be a part of what makes being a Shriner so great! Fellowship! Sign up via the Bektash website, please sign up sooner than later so we are able to confirm rooms and food. If you have not attend a Tri-Visitation. This is a great opportunity to visit a different location in New England, but to also meet or reconnect with your counterpart and or other Nobles and their Ladies from other Shrine Centers. Let’s make this year a year to remember!

The Fez’Tival of Trees 25th Anniversary is just around the corner and we need your help. This could be either set-up or break down, manning the front registration or one of the other tables. Please contact our Assistant Rabban Brett Hunter or Lady Emilie to sign up for your slot.

Keep an eye out for the Christmas Ball, details will be out shortly on Facebook and email.

Lastly, Nobles take a moment to reach out to the Nobles you know and check in with them to see how you can assist them as we head into colder months. At the very least this is a great chance to see how they are doing and to strengthen our bonds as Brothers.

Fraternally,

Evan McIntosh, Potentate
