Summer is officially over! That was a quick one!
Stated meeting was well attended, 8 Past Potentates were in attendance, I am humbled. I would like to extend our appreciation to the 2 units that sponsored our light supper for the night, the Mariners Yacht Club and Clown Unit. Thank you also to Ms. Suzanne Donahue, for the time teaching Lady Dixie in making pottery and the materials she let us use for the ladies to make during the Stated Meeting.
Congratulations to our new Noble, Grandey West and his Lady Karly, Welcome to Bektash Shriners.
Fun & Fellowship “Cheeseburger in Paradise” hosted by OG Rich Cloutier & his Lady Wanda was a successful one, from the decorations to food, to the drinks and most of all to the loud laughter we had. Absolutely FUN and enjoyable one. You should have seen Rich flipping burgers like a pro. It also coincided with the birthday of First Lady Dixie and Lady Rose Freeman. Thank you to those who brought food, it was all well appreciated by all and thank you for attending the event.
The 6th Annual Lady Amy Golf Tournament was well attended, 130 golfers signed up for this event, that’s a record! It was coming together with a purpose, every swing, every smile, every act of support brought hope, healing and brighter days to children and their families. Thank you for the energy, generosity and community spirit to this special event. Hope to see you all again next year!
