Nobles, Illustrious Sirs, Ladies and Friends of Bektash
What a great Northeast Field days we had ! I want to personally THANK not only the committee members who worked so hard over the years to put this together, but also all the Units, Nobles and Ladies who came out and spent the weekend attending the various events and the parade. I also send a great big thank you to my kids, Angelline, Niko, Alianna and Kasia for stepping up to the plate and holding down fort at home while we were away for yet another weekend this year.

All things said, NSA weekend was a great success. We had close to 300 attendees for the parade from all temples and Bektash had a strong 50 Nobles in the parade. You all looked great.
Congratulations to the High Rollers for winning during field competitions ! Keep practicing for the 2024 NSA hosted by Tunis.
I hope that everyone had a fun and relaxing time at the Bektash Temple dinner on Friday night. It was nice to see everyone together and having fun together in a relaxing environment. Everyone walked away from the ax throwing booth with 10 fingers, 10 toes, and all limbs !
Our visiting dignitary, Patient Ambassador Kaleb and his family had an enjoyable time with us for the weekend. We are happy to see his amazing family enjoying themselves out on the dance floor at the Luau Banquet.
And speaking of Luau…. The ladies did an amazing job out there with your Samoan dance. It was definitely one of the highlights for the night.
By the time the publishing of this edition of the Bektash News, we would have had our 3rd annual Cigar Smoker presented by our newly formed N.O.A.H club. It is sure to be a great event and the weather will again be on our side.
We have a few events happening in September. The Masonic Unity Picnic is September 17th at Wellington State Park. All Masonic bodies are invited to attend. Bektash will be providing salads as customary. The following Day, we will have our quarterly stated meeting at 7PM, proceeded by dinner at 6PM. Hope to see you all there. Friday, September 22nd is our 3rd. Annual Lady Amy Freeman Golf Tournament. Several teams. Come on out, swing a club and take a chance to win at the silent auction at the hall afterwards.
Nashua Shrine Club will also be hosting our Oktoberfest once again this year on Saturday October 7th.
Tri-Visitation. Hosted by Kora this year and being held at the Poland Springs Resort in Maine. October 20-22. See the flyer that is posted in this edition of the Bektash News. Some of the hotel and event costs based off of double occupancy will be reimbursed for Bektash Nobles and Ladies !! What a great time to come out in force.
